Katrin Kids – hygiene for future generations

Katrin wants to encourage children to learn and discover new things. And as Katrin knows, a big part of the learning process is getting your hands dirty.

UNICEF’s Global Handwashing Day is an important event from which to raise awareness of good hand hygiene. This year Katrin will contribute to this event by releasing a hygiene school book, which encourages parents and educators to turn hand washing into both a fun and a healthy habit for children.

Since 2005 Katrin has also studied the wellbeing and hygiene habits of school children in several countries. As a result of the studies Katrin has been arranging seminars with teachers, sponsoring new washroom equipment at disadvantaged schools and organising a number of events designed to emphasise the importance of hand hygiene for all ages.

In addition, by providing durable, long-lasting, environmentally-friendly and easy-to-use solutions, Katrin makes bacterially challenged school and daycare environments much more hygienic, for both children and adults.

Katrin’s aim is to promote good hand hygiene for future generations.
